Temporary Server Outage

Dear Rosco Live Users,

We experienced a temporary server outage on 9/15 that may have delayed your videos from uploading. This was quickly resolved and video uploads resumed after normal operation was restored. Any event videos that attempted to upload during this outage will be uploaded as soon as the camera is available.

We want to assure you that no video loss occurred and everything should now be restored.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

V2.23.1 Release Notes

Hey RoscoLive, we just released version 2.23.1 today! 🎉

Here's what we've done in this release:

✨ NEW FEATURES

Firmware Auto-Update	Rosco Live will now automatically update camera firmware versions when a new firmware is released.
DV6 Auto-Update During Installation	Upon installation of a DV6 camera, if it is determined that it requires an update, one will be sent when powered on for the first time and connecting to the network. It should be allowed to update before continuing installation.

🔧 IMPROVEMENTS & CHANGES

- Vehicle names can now be 50 characters long

- Improved site performance

- Overnight trips that overlap days will now be viewable on both the day it began as well as the day it ended on.

- New password requirements are in place when you create a new password.

- Removed the following:

- Firmware column on Vehicles page

- Firmware status indicator from At A Glance menu

- Firmware report from Reports page

- New map color scheme

- Live trips will now dynamically update while viewing the trip in progress.

- Fixed live stream button not activating when a camera comes online

Live Streaming

Dear Rosco Live User,

On rare occasion, your camera will not be able to live stream due to poor network signal in the area it is in. This is only temporary as after the vehicle travels to an area with better reception, the live stream will be restored.

It has come to our attention that there is a slow down in live streaming some cameras regardless of network signal strength. The Rosco Team has identified the problem and are working diligently to get it resolved.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will update as soon as it is resolved.

New RoscoLive Version 2.22.0

💡 NEW FEATURES

New Driver ID	Driver ID is now available on RoscoLive! DV6 devices will scan a QR code through the driver facing camera. DVXC4 devices have a separate dash-mounted scanner for fob/ID card scanning.
New Driver Scoring	Drivers identified through RoscoLive can be scored based on RoscoLive events, which can be weighted to severity based on preference. Scores are made relative based on the distance traveled per driver per time frame.
New Driver Coaching	Drivers can be coached based off of high scores or individualized events. Coaching events allow you to identify a driver, assign a coach, build an agenda in the notes field, establish a deadline, and get confirmation when coaching is completed. Report for exporting scores available Events can be searched by driver Menu to adjust event weights
New expiration adjustments	Now you have the ability to set when an event video expires. Today RoscoLive keeps every uploaded video file available to the fleet for a full year. You can now shorten the period of time so that sensitive files are removed from accessibility sooner.

🔧 IMPROVEMENTS

G-Sensor	Consolidating the Critical G-Sensor and G-Sensor event types into a new name, High G-Force.
Camera Health Issues	Alert bubble located in the side menu to signal any camera health issues.
Remove event videos	You now have the ability to remove individual event videos from access.

RoscoLive v2.21.0 Released!

Hey RoscoLive, we just released version 2.21.0 today! 🎉

Here's what we've done in this release:

✨ NEW FEATURES

Live Trip Replay	You can now see the latest trip of a vehicle as it is happening.
New Speeding Alerts SMS	Speeding Alert SMS now contain duration and top speed.
New Reports	You can now see Idling and Speeding reports in your Reports page.
New look and home for Fleet Profile page	Fleet Profiles have now been moved to the Vehicles page. Just click the Settings tab at the top of the page to see!
Harsh Event Types for DV6	You'll now be able to interact with harsh events like other event types such as filtering on the Videos page, SMS and email notifications, and as columns in reports!

🔧 IMPROVEMENTS

Updated looks for Edit Vehicle page	Now when you click on a vehicle from the Vehicles page, you will see a much improved Edit Vehicle page.
Posted Speed Limit shown on Trip History for Speeding Alerts	When you place your cursor on a Speed Alert in the trip history of a vehicle, you will now see the posted speed limit of that section of road.
RoscoLive users are now able to login to the Rosco Installer App	You can now use your RoscoLive credentials to login to the Rosco Installer App directly.

RoscoLive New Release

Dear RoscoLive Partner,

Here is what we expect to release next Monday, 9/20:

Features:

Automated reports - Users can now schedule their reports to automatically send via email on a daily, weekly, monthly, or custom time window.

NEW DATA POINT! - Speeding - In addition to the custom set Speed Limit (MPH/KPH set by user), the new Speeding will capture driver speeding based on the posted speed, and separated into classes:

1-5 over speed limit
6-10 over the speed limit
11-15 over the speed limit
>15 over the speed limit
- NOTE - All Speed Limit data can be found in the Trip Replay tool. Videos will not upload, instead, speeding will be captured and registered through the amount of time spent speeding across the new speed classes (above). Reports for Speed Limit to follow for next cycle.

Vehicle Cards - Real-time vehicle information that will provide update location, driver (if Driver ID is enabled), speed, and last connection time to confirm device activity. Cards will display on the vehicle list on the homepage.

Driver Management System (DMS) Reports - DMS events are available in Reports, both as template report and fields for custom report.

'What's New?' - RoscoLive will be posting updates to the What's New section in your user menu (top right of page).

The RoscoLive Installer App - Currently only for DV6, our new AI dash camera, all DV6 installations will be performed through the Installer app. The app confirms proper procedure, initializes the camera to RoscoLive, and will send a follow up report to Fleet Managers.

What you need to know:

Installers must enter a key during installation so that the device pairs to the correct fleet. The key can be found in RoscoLive in the User Menu.
The key can be emailed to your installer/installation company straight from RoscoLive.
