New Unlimited Data Plan

Rosco is now offering an UNLIMITED data plan for a modest up-charge per vehicle on monthly billing. This plan removes all restrictions, giving fleets and resellers complete freedom to stream and upload without limits!

Server Maintenance

Dear Rosco Live users,

We're currently performing some maintenance on our servers. No interruption in service is expected to occur - cameras will continue to report events and upload video as expected. Please do not be alarmed if some devices briefly disconnect momentarily, this is to be expected and the cameras will reconnect immediately with no loss in data or events. This maintenance is planned to occur and conclude within the next 2-hours.

RoscoLive v2.34.0

Hey RoscoLive, we just released version v2.34.0 today! 🎉 

Here's what we've done in this release:

✨ NEW FEATURES

Event Feedback (Partner Beta)
Events will now have an option to leave feedback on if there is an issue with the event or you would like submit some feedback about an event directly to RoscoLive!

This feature has been released as a Partner-Only Beta, so non-Partner users won't see this feature quite yet, but expect it soon!
Timezone Abbreviation Added to camera On-Screen Display 
The timezone for which the camera profile is set for is now available to be displayed alongside the timestamp seen in captured video, snapshots, and live streaming from the camera. By default, this is disabled, but it can be enabled with the new setting available in the Setting Profiles menu.

🔧 IMPROVEMENTS

Obstruction Event Now Full Event

The Obstruction Detection feature for the DV6 is now a full event type capable of triggering video & snapshot upload to RoscoLive when detected in addition to email notifications for this event sent out to subscribed users.

You can find the settings for this event at the bottom of the Event Settings tab when viewing a Settings Profile.

Camera Health Page
We're excited to reintroduce the Camera Health page tab on RoscoLive! This tab will report and notify users of potential issues with cameras in their fleet and steps on how to fix those issues.
"Quarantine" Added to Event Email Notifications for Quarantined Events
The word "Quarantine" has been added to the subject of event notifications that have been sent to quarantine for better clarity.

Installer App Temporarily Unavailable for Download on Android from Google Play Store

Dear Rosco Live users,

As of December 12th, the Rosco Installer app has been temporarily made unavailable for download in the Google Play store for Android devices. We thank you for your patience as we actively work on restoring the app back to the Google Play store at this time.

Please note this does not affect those who already have the Rosco Installer app downloaded to their Android device and it does not affect any Apple / iOS devices.

If you have any questions or need assistance with any installations that this issue affects, please contact RoscoLive technical support for further guidance and assistance for installation of your cameras.

Delay in Event Video Upload

The RoscoLive team has already identified the cause for this delay and a fix is already being prepared and will be applied shortly. In the meantime, you may experience some delay in event video upload, but you can be assured it will be uploaded in due time. Your patience is greatly appreciated!

Visual Bug for Available Video Resolved

Visual Bug in Video Available Display for Custom Video Request

Dear RoscoLive users,

An issue has been discovered that the Custom Video Request calendar and Details menu is not displaying available video for cameras before the date 09/22. We've investigated the issue thoroughly and are confident this is purely a visual issue with displaying the dates that have available video in the Custom Video Request menu and is not in any way an issue with camera recording or missing video. We can gladly assure you that if a camera was active and recording before these dates, then the video files are still available and can still be requested through the Custom Video Request menu like normal and they will be returned as expected.
