ADAS Settings Adjustment Notice

Dear RoscoLive User,

You may have noticed an increase in ADAS events being reported to you through RoscoLive in the last few days. Over the weekend, we made some adjustments to our algorithms to enhance their performance. These changes have resulted in a larger number of events being reported within RoscoLive. To ensure that you are not overwhelmed by these extra notifications, we have adjusted the system settings as follows:

- The sensitivity gauge has been set to a less sensitive position.

- The speed gauge has been set to 34 MPH for the minimum value.

As always, you have the ability to further adjust these settings according to your preferences to best suit your fleet's needs.

v2.8.0 Firmware Release

Hey RoscoLive! We are going to release the new Firmware v2.8.0 on the DV6 over the coming days! 🎉 

Here's what we've done in this release:

✨ NEW FEATURES

Major improvement to seatbelt detection

Our new and improved seatbelt AI will offer a better seatbelt detection experience.

Improved 12V/24V voltage detection

With the new release, vehicles reporting voltage below 18V will be detected as a 12V vehicle and vehicles reporting voltage above 18V will be detected as a 24V vehicle.


🔧 IMPROVEMENTS

Automatically retry after entering sleep mode when the network is disconnected

In this fix, if the sleep server connection is stopped without warning, the DV6 will wake up within a matter of minutes (rather than hours), reconnect to the sleep server, and go back to sleep.

Fixed the issue with DMS events persisting when entering parking mode

Previously, when a vehicle entered parking mode, if a DMS event was still active when the ignition turned off, it will be triggered again the moment the ignition is turned on. We have fixed that and now the DMS Event will no longer be triggered when the ignition is turned back on.

Server Maintenance

Dear Rosco Live users,

We're currently performing some maintenance on our servers. No interruption in service is expected to occur - cameras will continue to report events and upload video as expected. Please do not be alarmed if some devices briefly disconnect momentarily, this is to be expected and the cameras will reconnect immediately with no loss in data or events. This maintenance is planned to occur and conclude within the next 2-hours.

Installer App Temporarily Unavailable for Download on Android from Google Play Store

Dear Rosco Live users,

As of December 12th, the Rosco Installer app has been temporarily made unavailable for download in the Google Play store for Android devices. We thank you for your patience as we actively work on restoring the app back to the Google Play store at this time.

Please note this does not affect those who already have the Rosco Installer app downloaded to their Android device and it does not affect any Apple / iOS devices.

If you have any questions or need assistance with any installations that this issue affects, please contact RoscoLive technical support for further guidance and assistance for installation of your cameras.
